David Mason, CEO
Mr. Mason has over 38 years of experience in the US and International markets. After graduation from Western Australian Institute Of Technology with a B.S. in Geophysics he commenced his career with BHP Petroleum. Following that he moved on to Petrofina and Woodside Energy where he held both technical and management roles. He is the founder of Wandoo Energy, LLC. and principal shareholder. Previously he was also Co-Founder, CEO and Executive Director of Texon Petroleum – Australian Publicly Listed Company. (IPO 2007, Sold 2013). Throughout his career he has been directly involved in the discovery of 2 TCFe (330mmboe) of reserves.
Alex Marshall, President
Mr. Marshall has over 40 years of experience in US and International markets. After graduating with a B.S. in Geology from University of New England in Australia he joined WAPET in Perth as a development geologist. He spent 17 years with Roy Huffington Inc. exploring and developing the giant Badak and Nilam fields in Indonesia, followed by US Gulf Coast exploration. He later worked for Union Texas Petroleum, Burlington Resources, and Woodside Petroleum, before joining Wandoo Energy in 2005. He is a shareholder in Wandoo Energy and was also a Co-Founder of Texon Petroleum – Australian Publicly Listed Company. He is currently Wandoo’s prospect generator.
Paul Nielson, Contract Land Manager
Mr. Nielson is an experienced Certified Professional Landman (CPL) active in the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) and licensed Texas attorney since 1973. Former President of the Houston Association of Professional Landmen (HAPL), and member of numerous professional organizations within the petroleum industry. His experience covers onshore US, offshore US and international offshore.
Delilah Hainey, Contract Reservoir Engineer
Principal of Hainey & Hainey, Reservoir Engineering/ Reserves. Reservoir engineers/managers with extensive background in drilling, well completions and production operations. Experienced in the Gulf Coast, East Texas, South Texas and Permian Basin. ARIES and OGRE expert for reserves and A&D projects. Licensed professional engineers in Texas.
Doug Walser, Subsurface Asset Valuation Acceleration Specialist
Mr. Walser has 41 years of extensive US experience South Texas, Permian Basin, Mid-continent, Appalachia, and Rockies while working for industry leading oil service companies such as Halliburton/Pinnacle and Dowell Schlumberger. He specialized in hydraulic fracturing design, the calibration of three-dimensional fracture modeling and calibration by fracture mapping measurements. Doug has taught numerous seminars, workshops and short courses on hydraulic fracturing, authored 43 papers and articles, and holds 7 patents and 4 patent applications in his areas of interest. He received a B.S. in Natural Gas Engineering from Texas A&I University, and recently retired from Pinnacle Technologies/Halliburton where he was Chief Technology Advisor for North America.

Dana Speer, Executive Assistant
Ms. Speer has been with Wandoo Energy since 2010. As executive assistant she oversees all accounting, invoice payments, receivables and wire transfers. Is responsible for keeping detailed records of production and revenue. Serves as liaison with company directors, lawyers, consultants and suppliers. As well as coordinates all events, meetings, expos and functions for Wandoo Energy.
Sydney Emerson, Sr. Geoscience & Engineering Tech
Ms. Emerson has been with Wandoo Energy since 2013. As senior tech she supports the geologist, geophysicist and reservoir engineer on a daily basis. This includes assisting in processing and interpreting geological and geophysical data, running reserves and economics for producing properties, development and exploratory projects. She is highly experienced in IHS’s Petra, Kingdom and Enerdeq as well as OGRE’s Pyxis Economics Program and Aries.
